Schedule a 1-hour meeting.
I have advised students on university admissions, at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Over more than a decade, I have worked with families from 12 countries. I hold a B.S.E. from Princeton University, an M.A. from Columbia University, and a Master's and Ph.D. from Harvard University. I have taught at Boston University and the University of Vermont. I also served as Officer of Research, Associate Research Scholar at Columbia University, where I directed an international team of 20 scholars. My first book was published by Cambridge University Press, and I have continued to publish multiple books with many publishers since. Before founding Colonnade, I coached applicants at one of the largest admissions consulting firms in the world. I work with a small number of families each cycle, and I do all the editing and other work personally without subcontracting it out to others.
Once you have chosen your services and payment has been made, you will receive a private questionnaire to begin the intake process. Complete the intake questions on your academics, activities, etc., and your first deliverable follows within days.
Colonnade advises families internationally, principally in the Gulf and the wider Middle East — in person there during the year, and in London during the summer season. Time zones are honored, British, IB and U.S. curricula are understood, and discretion is observed as a matter of policy, not exception.
Everything a family shares — academic records, scores, and essays — is seen only by Dr. Andresen and is deleted 12 months after the application cycle ends. You may request a copy, a correction, or complete deletion at any time. No compensation is accepted from any university or program, and no student's name or result is ever used for marketing.
